Western Matanzas province is hosting the Puro Arte Handicraft Exhibitions, which links culture with Havana cigars.
The exhibition shows works of art created by professional and amateur artists who are attracted to Havana cigars.
The exhibit features humidors, ashtrays and other utensils created on wood, leather, textiles, ceramics and metal, using a wide range of techniques.
Experts highlighted a humidor that resembles a jewel box and was created by Dagoberto Avila, as well as a painting of Ernest Hemingway smoking a Havana cigar.
The program of the exhibition also includes lectures on the origin of cigars in Cuba and exchanges among prominent personalities in Cuban culture.
