 On the corner of Obispo and Mercaderes streets in Old Havana stands the Ambos Mundos Hotel, a building of eclectic architecture finished in 1923.
It was reformed and enlarged in 1924 and 1930.
At the beginning of the 1930s, U.S. writer Ernest Hemmingway stayed in the hotel, where he wrote "Fishing Chronicles" and "For Whom
