In 1860, the Telegrafo Hotel was located on Amistad Street. Around the year 1888 it was transferred to the populous corner of Prado and Neptuno streets.

In 1911, it was totally reconstructed and when its doors opened it was considered the most modern hotel in the city, and also one of the best among eleven hotels in Latin America.
At the present Telegrafo Hotel you can enjoy the mixture of the old with the new . It has 63 comfortable rooms with privileged views of the city. In the interior patio, there are semicircular arcades, which show their original bricks in contrast with the elements of modern designs. The elegant restaurant Telegrafo specializes in Cuban and International haute cuisine.
