The Hotel La Rusa, named for a glamorous but mysterious Russian lady - "La Rusa": "the Russian woman", is one of the distinctive features of the Malecón in Baracoa. The lady's memory is revered and preserved in this small but cozy and intimate hotel. Nobody tells you her name, she is now and forever La Rusa, just another of the myths that envelop Baracoa, the wonderful city where you can enjoy the pleasant sea breezes and an immense panorama of the blue waters of the sea and the singular topography of the Yunque together with a range of mountains that crowd behind the town.
