The event, which allows participants to enjoy and exchange their latest poetic creations, is being organized by the Cuban Union of Writers and Artists, the Southern Cultural Project for the Promotion of the Arts, the UNESCO office in Cuba and the Havana Historian's Office.
The Ninth International Poetry Festival, running until June 1st, will take place at various locales in Havana's historic district.
