Spanish Consortium Bets on Cuba's Keys
In 2006, the company will open a new hotel under the Paradisus brand on Cayo Largo del Sur.
According to experts, the hotel is a spectacular project with which Sol Meliá will expand its offers on Cuba's keys with an Ultra All Inclusive product.
The hotel will cover an area of 37,400 square meters on a spot height of 4.5 meters, and will be surrounded by a huge swimming pool.
The establishment will be the first luxury hotel on Cuba's north and south keys, where Sol Meliá is running nine hotels, totaling more than 2,800 rooms.
The Paradisus Cayo Largo Hotel will be Sol Meliá's third Paradisus establishment in Cuba, in addition to the Paradisus Varadero, in the beach resort of same name, and the Paradisus Río de Oro, in eastern Holguín province.
