The hotel chain Islazul runs the eight-room establishment, the first of its kind in eastern Cuba.

The inn benefits from its excellent location, at a walking distance from Céspedes Park, an area often visited by foreign visitors due to its historic, cultural and patrimonial values.

The San Basilio Inn has a 12-seat restaurant and is decorated with furniture and adornments in tune with the architectural style of the building, which was constructed during the second decade of the 20th century.

The building, characterized by the predominance of curved lines, stands out among others in the area because of its windows, iron-wrought railings and double staircase. It also has a small balcony in the center of the façade, decorated gypsum ceilings and walls with friezes.
