According to sources from the organizing committee, the works were created by 60 artists from all 19 Havana municipalities who used a wide range of techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and engraving, among others.
The exhibition, held at the Eduardo Abela Gallery, is considered an exponent of the development of the plastic art movement in the province.
Precisely, the San Antonio de los Baños Provincial Academy was founded with the goal of guaranteeing and consolidating the development of the plastic arts.
The exhibition will grant three awards, in addition to acknowledgements by the Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC), the Hermanos Saíz Brigade and the Fund of Cultural Assets.
