Among the new books is "Vivir y Soñar en Guantánamo" (Living and Dreaming in Guantánamo), a compilation of interviews of four women who have excelled in the field of culture, by journalist Martha Reyes.

Other titles are "El diablo y la Luz" (The Devil and the Light), by Reinaldo Sedeño, and "Constitución del Segundo Frente Oriental. Apuntes y Reflexiones" (Setting-up of the Second Eastern Front. Notes and Reflections) by historians Maricel Sayas and Luis Figueras.

The books "Un Pez sobre la Roca" (Fish on the Rock), by poet Francis Sánchez, and "Títeres: El Arte en Movimiento" (Puppets: Art in Motion), by Armando Morales, director of the National Puppet Theater, will be published soon.

One of the goals of El Mar y la Montaña is to publish award-winning works at the National Literature and Plastic Arts Contest.

In addition, the publishing house will promote works by local writers at next year's International Book Fair.
