Industriales, champion of the 2003-2004 season, took an early 2-0 lead but once more, Eastern Division´s Group C leader Las Tunas came from behind to equalize 2-2 on the fourth inning.

However, the Havana´s "Blues" scored one run at the bottom of the same inning, and two runs on the seventh and eighth, sufficient to back the work of young left-hander Arleys Sanche, who picked the victory. Right-hander Ubisney Bermudez was the losser.

Industriales out-fielder Carlos Tabarez smashed a solo homer in the first inning.
