The event, held in this capital, allowed Cuban experts from different fields of medicine to evaluate 294 patients interested in receiving treatment in the Caribbean Island, as part of the Health Tourism modality.

The patients were examined by oncologists, ophthalmologists, geriatrists, psychiatrists, internists, pediatricians and anesthesiologists.

After an initial diagnosis, the patients will travel to Cuba to receive treatment and enjoy the island's tourist options.

According to experts, the meeting, sponsored by Grupo DATA, achieved its goal of spreading Cuba's image, in addition to combining tourist offers with excellent health services.
