Granma Bets on Tourism Growth
According to sources from the leisure industry, results during the first few months of 2004 show that there is a chance to achieve that goal.
The province, whose tourist offers include nature, history and culture, has designed a promotional strategy aimed at improving marketing efficiency.
The goal of that policy, experts said, is achieving a steady flow of foreign vacationers during the so-called low season (April to November).
In addition, the hotels run by Cubanacán S.A. and Islazul are working to improve the quality of services, as a premise to attract more foreign vacationers.
