The delegation, called "TOP 100 Varadero", explored travel opportunities in Cuba as a tourist destination.

The working program included tours of the Cuban capital, Cayo Largo del Sur, Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens) and the world-famous beach resort of Varadero.

Visitors also enjoy the show at the Tropicana Cabaret, and visited the Viñales Valley, Topes de Collantes and Guardalavaca beach, the latter in eastern Cuba.

The tour was organized by Meiers Weltreisen and was sponsored by Cuba's Ministry of Tourism, domestic and foreign hotel chains operating in the country and the branch of the group Rewe.

According to experts, the initiative is part of Cuban authorities' efforts to boost tourist arrivals in various tourist destinations on the Caribbean Island.
