Those indicators have been a top priority in the construction of the hotels Iberostar and Blau Varadero, whose inauguration is scheduled for late 2004.

After the opening those two hotels, Varadero will offer 15,000 rooms, thus reaffirming its condition as Cuba's major tourism region.

Varadero, where the largest investments in Cuba's tourism sector have been made, has reported a good construction pace, which translates into 0.98 days to complete each room.

That way, the works are completed according to schedule, including the hotels being built in the so-called parcels seven and eight, which will be inaugurated in 2005.

Due to its excellent work, the Grupo Empresarial de la Construcción in Varadaro has received several international quality certificates.
