Digital Book on Medical Emergencies Published in Cuba
The book was written and published by experts from Cuba's Medical Emergency System and the Center for Computer Development for Health (CEDISAP).
The text explains what doctors must do in case of an emergency and how to use the resources available when the emergency takes place.
The 200-page book is divided into chapters that deal with respiratory, cardio-circulatory and neuro-psychiatric emergencies, as well as severe poisoning.
It also includes alternatives to treat traumas and in case of disasters, as well as medical emergencies in lactating women, among other therapeutic options.
CEDISAP has published other digital books on medical emergencies.
