Cuba will play the Uruguayan team in Group II of the American Zone.

Cuban players Ricardo Chile, Sandor Martínez and Edgar Hernández are currently training in the Mexican city of Cuernavaca.

They will also take part in the Future Tournament, scheduled for early February at Club Berumbau and to be attended by 87 tennis players, including the three members of the Uruguayan team.

Later, from February 7-13, the Cuban players will compete in another tournament at Club Casablanca, where they will have to qualify for the main competition.

The training will be completed at the Occidental Miramar Cup, scheduled for the second half of February in Havana.
