Cuba showed off its many sun and beach, cultural and diving programs at the fair, which was held at the Banamex Convention Center.

The Cuban delegation was made up of representatives of major companies linked to the leisure industry, including Cubanacán S.A., Havanatur, Gran Caribe, Gaviota S.A., Islazul, Paradiso, Cubatur, Habaguanex and Havanatur.

Cuba's 90-square-meter stand displayed the most attractive alternatives in the modalities of water sports, city tourism, nature and adventure.

In addition, Cuban experts briefed participants on the country's facilities to develop congress and ecological tourism, two of the fastest-growing modalities over the past few years.

In the case of conventions and meetings, Cuba has a well-developed infrastructure that gives the Caribbean Island an excellent position in the region.

Cuba's presence in the fair is part of a strategy to boost tourism, one of the engines of the national economy.
