Cuban Coaches Train Venezuelan Volleyball Teams
According to experts from the Venezuelan Volleyball Federation, Eliseo Ramos, who trained the Cuban team that won the silver medal at the Pan-American Games in the Dominican Republic, will coach the men's team.
The main challenges of the Venezuelan team this year are to return to the World League and qualify for the World Tournament in Japan in 2006.
In order to compete in the latter, they will participate in the qualifying competition in Venezuela.
Meanwhile, Tomás Fernández, who took that job for seven years until 1996, will coach the women's team.
The sources added that Eugenio Ortíz will train the beach volleyball team.
