Cuban Artists Exhibit Their Artworks in Malaysia
The exhibit, which is entitled Cuban Contemporary Prints and Paintings: Symbolism and Colors, features artworks by 21 Cuban artists.
The artists who are exhibiting their works in the exhibition are Zaida del Río, Nelson Domínguez, Vicente Rodríguez Bonachea, Gilberto Frómeta, Roberto Fabelo, Kcho, Flora Fong and Ernesto García Pena.
Other prominent Cuban artists showing their artworks are Alfredo Sosa Bravo, Montoto, José Omar Torres, Elsa Mora, Andy, Diana Balboa, Alejandro Sainz, Pablo Borges, Héctor Naranjo, Ángel Eusebio Rivero and Norberto Marrero, among others.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia Pedro Monzón highlighted the role of art schools in the Caribbean island and the high development of all artistic expressions.
