Cuban Airport Wins International Award
The air terminal, the third major airport in Cuba, won the International Transportation Trophy and the International Star Award for Quality, granted by the World Quality Commitment.
The awards, granted by major international associations, acknowledge the airport's excellent work in the field of tourism transportation, as well as the prestige of companies and institutions linked to the leisure industry.
The Frank País Airport has won six similar awards since 2003, thus ratifying the excellent quality of its services.
The International Transportation Trophy was established by the Editorial Office and the Trade Leaders Club in 1998, as part of their program to promote contacts and relations among businesspeople, and acknowledges the work of companies and institutions linked to the tourism sector.
The International Star Award for Quality is granted by the Paris-based Business Initiative Directions, as an acknowledgement of high-quality services to foreign visitors.
