Cuba Hosts International Culinary Festival
The event is sponsored by the Federation of Culinary Associations of the Republic of Cuba, the World Association of Cooks' Societies and the Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
Other sponsors are the Cuban ministries of Domestic Trade, Tourism, Fishing Industry, Food, Culture and Public Health, Cuba's Convention Bureau and the Association of Gastronomic Restaurateurs of the Americas (AREGALA).
The program will include workshops, debates and bartender presentations. The festival will be dedicated to national cuisines, making emphasis on artistic cuisine.
In addition, activities will be held in hotels and restaurants in the Cuban capital, including a meeting of sommeliers, among other initiatives.
As part of the events, the French association Le Cordon Bleu will give master lectures to its members and guests within the framework of the festival.
