According to the Guide to Events, published by Cuba's Convention Bureau, the congresses will deal with Psychology, Traditional and Natural Medicine, Surgery, Nursing, and Nephrology.

National congresses on Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pathology, Endoscopic Surgery, Pediatrics, Nutrition and Oncology, will also be held this year.

In addition, congresses, symposiums and workshops that traditionally attract many foreign experts will be held at institutions in Havana and other provinces of the Caribbean Island.

In the Cuban capital, the meetings will be held at the Center for Medical Events attached to the Frank País Hospital, the Hotel Nacional, the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences and the International Conference Center.

Other congresses will be held at the Plaza América Convention Center, in Matanzas, Villa Clara's Provincial Hospital, and the Heredia Theater in Santiago de Cuba.
