Cuba to Compete at World Wrestling Cup
According to Cuban experts, the Cuban delegation will include Roberto Monzón, Olympic runner-up in Athens'2004 in the 60-kg division.
Other members of the delegation are Lázaro Rivas (55 kg), Alain Milián (66 kg), Odelín Herrero (74 kg), Luis Méndez (84 kg) and super heavyweight Mijail López.
The delegation will be headed by Miguel Langaney, Cuba's wrestling national commissioner, and will be coached by Pedro Vals.
The experts said that for the Cuban delegation, the Tehran meeting will be the first major competition in the ongoing Olympic cycle that will conclude in Beijing in 2008.
The tournament will bring together the world's best Greco-Roman wrestlers, so it is expected to be a tough competition.
