In that regard, Cuban tourism authorities are working to open direct flights between the two countries next year.

For the moment, Chinese vacationers can travel to Cuba via Paris, which grants an additional attraction to the trip, since they can stay one or two nights in that lovely city.

After Cuba, the Chinese government granted other Latin American countries, like Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, the Approved Destination Status, thus expanding tourism options in the region.

Experts said that it was possible to jointly work with airlines from those Latin American countries, and Chinese travel agencies could design tourist packages including those nations.
