The Caribbean Island promoted its offers under the slogan "Cuba, a Multidestination in Itself". The fair was an excellent opportunity to boost exchange between Cuban and Chinese tour operators.

The Cuban delegation was headed by Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero, who toured the cities of Beijing, Suchou and Shenzhen.

The Cuban companies represented at the fair were Gaviota, Cubanacán, Havanatur, Gran Caribe, Ecotur and Habaguanex, all of which have a solid infrastructure.

Regarding prospects in the Chinese tourism market, experts said that they are working to guarantee a wide range of offers to meet the Chinese people's varied demands.

In that regard, they are proposing a program that shows the relationship between the Cuban and Chinese peoples, focusing on history, culture and traditions.
