Representatives of Cuba's main corporations will attend the meeting to learn about business opportunities to replace imports.

In addition, participants will have the chance to learn about new Cuban-made products and the raw materials used in their manufacture.

Experts said that the meeting will pave the way to design alternatives of cooperation and integration to restore Cuba's balance of trade.

Sources from the organizing committee pointed out that although the meeting has been designed for domestic companies, foreign guests are expected to participate.

The Chamber of Commerce of Cuba ratified the importance of the meeting and announced its decision to postpone the 13th EXPOCARIBE International Fair, previously scheduled for this month, for 2005.
