Arrival of tourists to Cuba grows 12.4% in January
A total of 214,242 visitors traveled to the island in January, surpassing the number of arrivals in January 2003 by 23,573, according to statistics by the Ministry of Tourism. Canada, Italy, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Spain and Mexico are still the island's principal markets.
A total of 140,792 tourists visited Cuba in January 2002, 188,652 in the same month in 2001 and 163,786 in 2000.
