Cuba's new tourist policy highlights the importance of having that kind of structures at travel agencies, since they are in charge of organizing all activities in a professional way.

The meeting's agenda includes a lecture entitled "Prospects in Latin America and the Caribbean: Development, Potentialities, Strength and Weakness", which will be given by María José Alves, director of the executive office of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) for Latin America and the Caribbean.

In mid 2003, the Professional Congress Organizer was officially accredited to meet all the needs during the organization of an event.
